Elite Failures Leader Steve Hand (twice .. 2006 & 2007) had support from Mark Frisby (once 2006 & chickened out 2007) Andy Walton (2006 only & retired from competition) and Steve Wilshaw (2007 first timer). Jon Heathfield with BBB success in 2006 but with a failure on the Dovedale Dipper in August 2006 has left the CLUB and rejoined the ranks of "winners" with a storming under 10 hrs effort in the BBB 2007. His only failure this year was seeing Steve Hand on to a bus in Eyam.

1. Steve Hand Caught a bus at Eyam to Baslow to qualify for a 2nd successive failure, becoming a leader in this field.

2. Steve Wilshaw Retired at Sheldon Check Point. Injured on a Stile this certificate has been awarded to Steve as he joins the elite Band of Baslow Boot Bash failures.

3. Mark Frisby Avoided further qualification in the Elite Failures Club by escaping to North Devon leaving it to other Failure Club colleagues to maintain the tradition.
